Native American Day

We recently hosted Native American Day to showcase Native American crafts and dress, and to educate attendees about their customs and way of life. The Secatogue tribe of the Algonquin nation once resided in the local area. They occupied the land from what is now Islip to west to what is now Patchogue to the east.
