Past exhibits focusing on the Civil War years included a re-enactment of wedding ceremony of that era featuring George Munkenbeck, the Town of Islip Historian and several Sayville HS students. Many items related to the conflict were also displayed, including letters sent home by Suffolk County soldiers.
